Set Application Default Authorization

Setting Application Default Authorization allows administrators to specify global permission policies for applications, achieving:

  • Simplified Permission Management: New users automatically receive preset permissions
  • Unified Permission Baseline: Ensures all users have basic access rights
  • Reduced Configuration Costs: Minimizes repetitive authorization operations

Steps

Step 1: Access Default Authorization Settings

  1. Log in to the AngusGM system
  2. Navigate to: AngusGMGlobal PermissionsPermission Policies
  3. Locate the 「Application Default Authorization」 module in the left-hand menu

Step 2: Configure Default Policy

  1. Select and operate from the policy dropdown
  2. Available policy types:
    • General User Permissions (recommended for new users)
    • Guest Permissions (minimum access)
    • Custom Policy (requires pre-configuration)
    • Access Denied (no permissions)

Step 3: Save and Verify

  1. Click 「Save Settings」
  2. Verify the configuration by testing with a new account

Notes

  • Each application can only have 1 default policy
  • Policy changes do not affect users with assigned custom policies
  • Sensitive systems (e.g., testing) must not have open default policies
