Edit User
Edit User is used to modify or update existing user information. Operations may include changing the user's name, email address, contact details, assigning or updating the user's default role, etc.
Steps
1. Access the User Management Interface
- Log in to the system console.
- Navigate to
AngusGM → Organization & Personnel → Users
. - Click the "Edit User" button in the upper-right corner.
2. Fill in User Information
Configure the following details in the edit form:
- Required fields: Last name, First name, Full name, Username, Email
- Optional fields: Gender, Job title, Address, Profile picture, Mobile number, Landline number, etc.
- Permission assignment: Select an appropriate default system role for the user (e.g., Regular User, System Administrator).
⚠️ Permission Restrictions
Regular user accounts cannot modify the default system role of a System Administrator.
3. Complete the Update
- Click "Submit" to save the changes.
- After the user is updated, the system will return to the user list and refresh it automatically.
