Add Department

Add Department is used to create new organizational units within the organizational structure, supporting the construction of a hierarchical management system. Newly created departments will automatically receive basic permission configurations.

Steps

1. Access the Department Management Interface

  1. Log in to the system console
  2. Navigate to AngusGM → Organization & Personnel → Departments
  3. Click the 「+ Add Department」 button in the left navigation bar

2. Fill in Department Information

Configure the following details in the creation pop-up:

  • Required fields: Name, Code
  • Optional fields: Department Tags

⚠️ Naming Conventions:

  • Department names must be globally unique
  • Avoid special characters: / \ : * ? " < > |
  • Codes cannot be modified after creation

3. Complete Creation

  1. Click 「Confirm」 to submit
  2. System prompt: "Added successfully"
  3. The dialog will close immediately after creation, and the department tree will refresh automatically

Post-Creation Management

  1. Member Allocation:
    • Click 「Add Members」 on the department details page
    • Supports batch user addition
  2. Permission Configuration:
    • Automatically inherits permissions from the parent department
    • Custom permission policies can be added for the department
  3. Hierarchy Adjustment:
    • Use the right-click "Move" option to change the department's position

Quota Details

Department quantity limits for different versions are as follows:

Tip: Real-time quotas can be viewed on the Resource Quota page under Department Count.

⚠️ Hierarchy Limits:

  • Supports up to 5 levels of department structure
  • A single department can contain a maximum of 50 sub-departments by default
