Department Authorization Policy

Department Authorization Policy is used to assign permission policies to departments, enabling department members to automatically obtain specified permissions. Permission policies control the resources and operations accessible to members, ensuring secure and compliant resource management.

Operation Guide

1. Access Department Authorization Management

  1. Log in to the system console.
  2. Navigate to AngusGM → Organization & Personnel → Departments.
  3. Click the target department name in the left-side department tree.
  4. Switch to the "Authorization Policy" tab.

2. Manage Permission Policies

2.1 View Existing Policies

  • The list displays all authorized policies.
  • Each row includes: policy name, policy code, authorization source, authorizer, etc.

2.2 Add a New Policy

  1. Click the "Authorize" button in the top-right corner.
  2. Select the target policy from the policy library.
  3. Click "Confirm" to complete authorization.

2.3 Remove a Policy

  • Locate the target entry in the policy list.
  • Click the "Revoke Authorization" button on the right.
  • The permission is revoked immediately.

Key Rules

1. Inheritance Mechanism

  • Sub-departments do not inherit policies from parent departments.
  • Sub-departments can have their own exclusive policies.

Notes

⚠️ Security Restrictions:

  1. Cannot assign policies exceeding your own permissions.
  2. Policy changes trigger notifications to all department users and system administrators.

⚠️ Impact Scope:

  • Policy changes affect all department members.
  • Removing policies may disrupt business processes.
