Delete Department
Delete Department is used to permanently remove a department from the organizational structure and is considered a high-risk operation. Before proceeding, ensure the following:
- All users within the department have been transferred
- Sub-department relationships have been addressed
- Department permission configurations have been backed up
Pre-Operation Checks
- No active users under the target department
- No sub-departments under the target department
- All permission policy associations have been revoked
Operation Steps
1. Access Department Management
- Log in to the system console
- Navigate to
AngusGM → Organization & Personnel → Department
2. Locate the Target Department
In the left-side department tree:
- Expand the department hierarchy
- Locate the target department
- Ensure no sub-department icon appears before the department name
3. Execute Deletion
- Right-click the target department name
- Select the 「Delete Department」 option
- Confirm the operation in the pop-up window to complete deletion
Important Notes
⚠️ Prohibited Deletion Scenarios:
- Core system departments
- Departments containing active users
- Departments with unresolved sub-departments
⚠️ Permission Requirements:
- The executor must have 「Department Management」 operation permissions
- Non-empty departments cannot be deleted
