Project Management

The AngusTester Project Management feature provides full lifecycle project control capabilities, supporting end-to-end management from creation and configuration to collaboration, ensuring efficient project delivery.

Core Project Operations

1. Create a Project

Description: Set up a new project framework
Steps:

  1. Navigate to Projects → Project List
  2. Click the "Add Project" button
  3. Fill in basic information:
    • Template: Select a template type (refer to the right-side prompt for template use cases)
    • Icon: Visual identifier (optional)
    • Name: Unique project identifier
    • Owner: Primary project owner
    • Project Members: Specify project participants
    • Timeline: Start/end dates
    • Description: Project objective (≤2000 characters)
  4. Add project members (minimum 1 required)
  5. Click "Save" to complete creation

⚠️ Key Requirements:

  • Project names must be globally unique
  • Members must include an owner role
  • Timelines must align with realistic cycles

Quota Rules

Project quantity limits by version:

Tip: View real-time quotas under Resource Quotas for Project Count.

2. Edit a Project

Description: Update project configuration
Steps:

  1. Locate the target project in the project list
  2. Click the "Edit" button
  3. Modify fields:
    • Basic info (name/description/timeline)
    • Member changes (add/remove members)
    • Icon updates
  4. Click "Save" to apply changes

⚠️ Notes:

  • Key changes require member notification
  • Project template types cannot be modified after creation

3. Delete a Project

Description: Remove unnecessary projects
Steps:

  1. Locate the target project in the project list
  2. Click the "Delete" button
  3. Confirm deletion (secondary confirmation)
  4. System removes the project

⚠️ Data Protection:

  • Automatic project data backup before deletion
  • Recoverable via Projects → Recycle Bin
  • Permanent deletion requires admin or deleter permissions

4. View Project Details

Description: View complete project information
Steps:

  1. Locate the target project in the project list
  2. Click the project name
  3. View details including:
    • Basic info card
    • Software module info
    • Software versions
    • Data labels
    • Progress dashboard (TODO)

Status Change Operation

Steps:

  1. Locate the target project in the project list
  2. Click the "Update Status" button
  3. Select a new status
  4. Confirm the change

⚠️ Status Rules:

  • Only admins, creators, and owners can change status
  • "Completed" status requires:
    • All milestones achieved
    • No critical defects
    • Documentation archived

  2. Filter by Select Project in the conditions
  3. View corresponding activity records
